Liner seal F-500/800/1000/1300/1600 The Liner Seal is a critical elastomeric O-ring or gasket set that provides a high-pressure fluid seal between the outside diameter of the liner and the inside bore of the liner bore in the fluid end. It prevents drilling mud from leaking out of the pumping chamber into the atmosphere or into the areas around the liner. These seals are made from materials (like Nitrile, Polyurethane, or Fluorocarbon) chosen for their compatibility with drilling fluids, resilience, and ability to maintain sealing under high pressure and varying temperatures. | |||||||||
Even a small leak past this seal can cause rapid erosion of the fluid end body, leading to extremely costly repairs or complete replacement of the fluid end block.
